I used to think #nostr is this place where people who shall make the world a better place were gathered. But it’s just a few people who can not wait to get rich off Bitcoin prices 😭 but that’s just my opinion

I hate that for you. I hope it doesn’t discourage you from using it and engaging.
#nostr really is a place where people are actively working to make the world (or at a minimum the internet) a better place. It’s a protocol where you can have honest engagement and earn sats for sharing.
Like everything there are people that use it but don’t truly represent it. It’s an open protocol so everyone can note what they like. Those people are noise.
Find your signal. Curate your follow list. Mute what doesn’t serve you. Play around with relays. Nostr is awesome if you make it that way.

Nostr is about free speech. Some people can’t get past the fiat price of Bitcoin but the movement is bigger than that 🫂
Nostr is still better than many places on the internet. Since the price goes up many degens are back on X.
I used to follow few crypto live stream on twitch few years ago, i watch them again and unfollow most of them, it's scary how they manipulate their audience to take profit of it and promote scam projects..

It is, you just gotta hang around the right people. No matter how obscure the network, those people are a minority. Any network is mostly loud mouths.
