It is a very clever scam that the average person doesn't notice
It doesn't matter. These people are mentally unwell. I don't go to the local luney bin for their opinions and how they act in the world. These people are no different. Their collective insanity is just a question of who and how many people you get to agree with your illusion.
It's only a scam if you don't notice. Otherwise, it's just a reason to opt out.
