I despise sale prices. It means the merchant admits to dishonorable price gouging. Then I can't trust the merchant or do business with them because it would make me share in their dishonour.
So I must either buy through a proxy or assassinate the merchant and take the goods like most Klingons đ

What if the money gets better and the price drops organically?
If a merchant sets price too high it will go out of business. If too low, same result. Price is a tricky thing. I think sales are about getting new users for future upsell opportunities, or to get rid of stock of less popular products. I think very few retailers can get away with gouging but apple products always seem to be 20-30% away from an easy purchase đ
So I'm gathering that perhaps while I'm on Earth I should not consider how honour is satisfied when it comes to commercial purchases? Just buy if the price is right? đ
