They have built in an indirect way to modify your feed. In most cases it seems trivial and you can click a button to show the content regardless.

So basically the client dictates what is and isn't considered 'sensitive content'? And there is no settings button to turn this feature off?

If 5+ people you follow report something, it’s hidden and you have to tap to show. The number 5 is not configurable. The feature cannot be disabled.

The issue I'm seeing in Amethyst is shadowbanning

I’m not the most knowledgeable about what’s going on. Just reporting banded on what I’ve read. I’m not an Amethyst user.

I don't think it is around sensitive data. It is based on whether enough (I believe 5) people have "reported" a particular npub. If enough people have then it will stop showing in your feed unless you choose to show it (click show content).
