I enlisted in the infantry because I had ruined my life and wasted every opportunity I had to make something of myself.
I didn’t want to enlist, I hated the idea of the military, but I knew it was what I needed to do if I wanted to grow up and develop into a man.
The opportunity to go to West Point fell into my lap, and I took it. I grew into a man, developed into a leader. Earned an aviation slot, went to flight school and flew Apaches.
Two deployments, one as a grunt the other as a platoon leader. Commanded for over 2 years. Got out for my family.
I drank a lot of kool-aid along the way. But there is some truth in the American ideals. I came to terms with my mortality and what it meant to sacrifice one’s life for another, for their country.
To then learn that was all to prop up an objectively evil monetary system that formally enslaves every dollar holder… I have a new mission.
They trained me to have moral courage, to lead. So I will. I will not let this mess be my children’s inheritance. The buck has to stop. Thank God we have the tools to free ourselves from such insidious oppression. #bitcoin We can win this fight.
We all appreciate your service. The great awakening is happening.
I bet we’ve crossed paths a few times both being Army Aviators. I completed flight school in May 2005 flying Chinooks.
