become more childlike and "play" more to rediscover your creativity. walk barefoot, get your hands messy. write things no one will see.

your adult brain always wants an end result or point. allow yourself to just have fun in the doing. there's no goal, just fun.

Being able to write 1k to 1.5k short articles compared to the traditional 5-10k of a standard format academic journal article is like creative play for me. Maybe should actually “return to the sandpit”

I think you should. I only rip short articles when I have an idea. And mostly late at night. Writing is so cathartic.
