PSA: Reporting issues on your favorite open source tools really helps a lot!

You cannot code? You cannot sponsor a coder? Report issues!

Almost all nostr tools that are popping up are one-man shows and their developers often even have no idea if anybody likes or uses their tools. Submitting issues to their repositories not only helps them to improve the product but it also motivates to see there is somebody who cares.

Very busy repositories often struggle with too many issues - often of the ideas-type. And with duplicates. But most of the nostr tool repositories are not busy and issues are greatly welcome.

Yes! Thanks for reporting a bunch of stuff!

Nostr will fix this. It's a lot of user flow expecting users to leave an application, potentially sign up for an account with a git platform, write up an issue and post it to a public forum for anyone to criticize in sometimes potentially awful ways. Users usually want to give feedback, they're often just uninformed on how or just a bit to lazy to go the extra step.

Nostr enables developers to communicate directly with their users in ways that's never been around before. With the simple UI of an internal button users are now able to send private direct messages straight to the developer directly within the developers or potentially even another devs application. The open nature will then allow devs to build beautiful UI for users to receive follow up inquiries directly within their apps or services to really solve issues down to the user level.

Combine this with AI agents to manage the large levels of data that a proper user flow will build and developers will not only have tons of feedback but they'll be able to sort through millions of direct messages in no time. This will allow devs to focus directly on code with combined feedback of nearly all users.

Everything is about to get so much better! 🧡

Why not having some sort of GitHub build on Nostr, maybe more like a social network and seamlessly integrating with any other twitter/facebook like application.

I am about to start building something like that, if anyone is interested DM me!

If you figure it out, poke Jack. He's offering 10BTC for a GitHub replacement although he didn't define well what he expects.

Never even thought about this thanks for sharing!

my first nostrils were critiques of this app, but I think they disappeared
