I see that a lot of people love bitcoin on this platform. I love it too, but we have to also be open for innovation, nothing ever stays the same, not even bitcoin and there will always be new innovations on top of existing ones

In the world of technology, you are right. However, this is not about the innovation or technology. It's about the attributes of money and it has all the best ones. So even if there is innovation, it won't beat Bitcoin.
What type of "money" someone is looking for is highly personal and dependent on circumstances. Fiat today is also not the same everywhere and I am pretty sure that you convert whatever fiat you have into other fiat when you visit a new country. The same analogy applies to all crypto currencies, not all are suitable for all the occasions
