This is a very nuanced perspective and 💯% true.
But in today's world especially it's not only people who never leave their homes, who feel lonely. I'm sure Rira-san must have felt and other people who seem to lead regular life also sometimes feel lonely & for those who feel such momentary loneliness it's helpful 🫂
For those who experience severe loneliness and stay at home, a hug is just a starting point & continued friendship & care maybe more helpful. This is what I think, but I am not an expert on social behaviour.
