Ooh let us know how it is

It’s excellent. This is the 2nd viewing 🤌🏾

You tried Oddity (2024)?

I quite liked both. Was amazed there's two decent films this year lol

No I haven’t. I’ll queue it up on torrents. Thanks!

I’ve heard good things. I don’t do creepy well, in all honesty, so I’ve been delaying.

It’s excellent. It reminds me of Seven by David Fincher

That movie is great! I feel like you’re setting me up. 😂

Not at all 😂

It’s truly disturbing and scary though

For reference.. I only just rewatched IT after it ruined my childhood. Since then we managed the reboots and getting a little braver. Overactive imaginations are hell when it comes to horror movies.

Ah… The original or the two part remake?

It was definitely the original that wrecked my childhood. Drains, creeks, and clowns were a big nope. 😂

Curry killed it. But yeah.. since finally watching again and undoing the damage, we watched the remakes as well. They were only ok in my opinion. Worked up too much I guess.

Have you seen Hereditary by Ari Aster? I’m curious

I have not.

That’s one of my favourite movies. I was scared for a while after seeing it the first time though. Excellent movie though. It’s the family drama aspect mixed with the scary scenes. Similar to longlegs. It too I guess. The remakes at least

And just like that.. “scared for awhile after” now less inclined to watch it. 😂

A while = a few months 😂😂😂

Excellent movie though

Taking about getting your monies worth! 😂

I’ve got Longlegs on the list. Maybe Hereditary if we survive it.

Add Midsommar to the list, another one by Ari Aster. The witch by Robert Eggers, and Suspiria by Luca Guadaguino. Those are all the favourites.

One I’ve seen! I liked The Witch.

What a great movie. It’s scary but more in a psychological sense. Except the last part 🤭🤭🤭

It was the time period of the movie that attracted me. Pretty sure I was held hostage by my inability to not finish a movie I start.

The premisce of this movie is incredible. Imagine being in that family’s situation

If the genre is horror.. slim to zero chance I’ve seen it.

It’s less jump scare and more psychological with a few scary scenes. Like the shining

Well if it’s only psychologically scarring.. way better.

In my opinion, if it’s psychologically scary, the director is talented. As opposed to jump scares, which are a bit too easy to do

I’d agree. One is far more challenging to pull off.
