Am I dumb?

Sell car I own, get 30k cash. Put 10k in MSTY get 10k per year in dividends.

Lease car for $300/mo. MSTY effectively pays for car…

What an I missing?

MSTY doesn't guarantee returns...

Couldn’t I just sell it if they reduced?

Sure, then you would have a car lease you can't pay for... Plus you would be trying to time the market. The point is you're using leverage. Leverage is risk. You're acting like there is no risk.

MSTY pays dividends monthly. Seems like less risk, based on BTC not going down I suppose.

Why do you think stocks would be better than just buying a car and bitcoin?

I guess the lease is next to nothing. Invest cash now and it effectively pays for car and then some.

Or you might get nothing…

Nothing is going to guarantee you make any returns on those stocks…

I thought of all of this and the fact that somebody else is holding my money to give me a small percentage a month to me. That doesn't make sense, because I'm paying for that guy's vacation.

I guess if you held the ETF for one year you could get 100% ROI.

Makes sense, seems that you better off just holding the asset directly…
