can anyone please help me understand how to use the phoenix LN wallet to generate a reusable LNURL i can use for #zaps?

I installed it & some #sats inside now, not can't figure out how to connect it with #nostr . I've used #WoS for nostr zaps since joining, but barely figured that out at the time.

Now that WoS is pulling out of the US, I figure I'll try using a non custodial wallet... but I'm not very knowledgeable about all this and it's way over head.

Well you can’t do that with phoenix wallet

There’s no set LN

You can only put what invoice you create that moment

What you're looking for is a "lightning address". Wallet Of Satoshi gives them in the form of xxxxx@walletofsatoshi.com

Phoenix Wallet, unfortunately doesn't. However, you can easily zap others on nostr using Phoenix (if you don't mind the fees).

I don’t think Phoenix supports a static/reusable LNURL the way WoS/Alby did, because it requires running more than just a node. However I do know that nostr:npub1xnf02f60r9v0e5kty33a404dm79zr7z2eepyrk5gsq3m7pwvsz2sazlpr5 worked some magic to make this possible, so if you’re looking for a self-custodial zap-receive-address, give Zeus a shot

Phoenix wallet is great, however, it does not provide a Lightning address for #zaps

LifPay, Strike, or Zebedee work for #zapping...Strike has a $1.00 minimum #zap amount though.😊
