that the LGBTQ movement was a social experiment to prove once and for all whether men or women were harder to get along with in a relationship. They needed a large pool of gay men and another of lesbians so that there would be broadly representative, chromosomally homogeneous groups to test. The thing is though that it became apparent quickly that while the gay men were wearing costumes and decorating things and generally having a jolly ol time, the lesbians were unhappy and couldnt figure out who to blame. That brings us to the birth of the LGBTQ movement. Not willing to admit that the unhappiness may be their fault, the lesbians (gay woman was too happy sounding so they preferred lesbian in that era) brought in mercenaries to befuddle the proceedings and obscure the results.

Its my fave cuz I just made it up right now.

I've always wondered why 'gay women' was somehow not the standard term. Simply too happy. That explains it all!
