This is so dumb. But i guess post xrays if you want to be taken seriously. Dentin grows for everyone throughout their lives; this is nothing special or new it is a reaction of odontocytes to challenges like caries. They were probably talking about a tertiary dentin vridge growing where there was (and maybe still is) decay. Standard textbook stuff
