Ghelasie, once a shepherd, sought solitude in the Râmeț mountains. There, he carved a cell into the rock, dedicating himself to prayer. Villagers, witnessing his asceticism, flocked to him. Despite his desire for solitude, he accepted the call to lead, guiding souls back to Christ. May his example inspire us to seek God in stillness and serve Him in action. Lord, hear our prayers!
