I presume this is by managing a lightning node and locking some of my corn in there.

I’m reasonably tech savvy and am curious about learning more due to greed but a bit cautious about locking capital up.

Can you recommend me some material or a good place to start learning about this?

It is early and the rate will be variable because of the market. Also - it is not “yield”, It is fees from lightning that are shared with providers of liquidity.

Follow Breez, as they are building this in a non custodial function where you still control your keys.

Others will follow and the “market” rate will be based supply and demand.
