Based on +$400k btc, making use of the wallet to make payments.
I'm Looking forward in selling my art completely anonymously without the need to setup a big shop that is tied to my real world identity
A lot of small businesses will be based on noster and um, Instagram, and Facebook marketplace probably will be left in the dust.
Information networking between companies’ material inventory. Nostr’s framework that makes it powerful for SM also makes it uniquely geared towards supply chain communication because it’s interoperable and lightweight.
Want to see a lot more creators get paid for their work (even in fiat).
I think our goals from here to 5 years are unimaginable. None of us can know what can be done with this social network. I hope that no type of algorithm will be integrated to favor the older ones and disadvantage the little ones.
I think it could replace things like YouTube, Twitch etc. We might not see Mr Beast numbers but I think we can eliminate all the middleman and get a much better viewer experience without all the clickbait and ads. Those will come I'm sure but if done right it won't matter because it will be fragmented so you just find your cozy corner and hangout.
This is already happening with podcasting 2.0 and it's beautiful.
aside from JewTube being run by Hebrews my main problem with it is that as a creator i can hide a person from the comments section on my channel ...
sometimes haters come on my channel and begin to personally insult me and i can simply "hide from channel" and they will still be posting their comments on my channel like nothing changed but literally nobody except them is going to see those comments ...
this is a huge problem because many channels put out completely bullshit content and if anybody comments that it is BS their comments are simply hidden ...
this is why sometimes you see outrageous BS in video and you look at comments section and its nothing but praise ...
because YouTube doesn't care about "marketplace of ideas" - they just want to rack up view counts for ad revenue.
any kind of NOSTR alternative to YouTube would have be based on the same NOSTR principle that nobody can be silenced. that you can mute somebody but you can't block or "hide" them.
technically you don't need NOSTR technology for this, but most video sites want to make money and therefore will protect creators by giving them tools to hide negative comments, downvotes etc.

Replace everything with it and all sites gain a social aspect which is huge. Podcasting is huge.
Personally I think it's pretty huge for devops stuff using dvms. We have an app store and CICD dvms. Combine this and we have a transparent we for reproducible builds attestation which is huge for security. Apply this to containers and the blossom bases docker registry I'm working on and dvms and we have a way for noobs to run dvms simply to decentralize ai while simultaneously reducing cost.
Todas las wallets lightning deberian estar construidas arriba de nostr, nosotros hicimos #lawallet
The only free speech network that will survive. Some new friendships, some new ideas.
Perhaps a way to federate energy for acting like boycott or coding project. I don't think it will stay free of bad people/usage.
But it is the freedom cost. You will find here everything that exist outside here.
But you will be free to decide who you ignore and who you support/follow with your free will.
They are clever people here, hiding under meme mask. And i am sure they can build something interesting together.
For the moment, the "noise" here avoid to focus on project and idea builds but it could change with some client/NIP improvement.
Like for example a public "group/channel" &iwannabuildawoodhouse could federate anyone that want to help, know things about it, have some advice, want to give a hand, or just want to follow to make their own house.
It is an example, but i think this could be a perfect place for this kind of "shared project" because we are going to dark times where other social media will be too much limited and censured for any stupid reasons (using wood is mandatory for fire safety, build by your own is not authorized for safety reasons and local law... so the content could just be censured for any reasons...).
I really think other social media and any gov. goes to the wrong way by avoiding people having a free will, and force them to "eat" the words they have approved first.
Humans are not sheep.
Some people like to follow and some like to lead. But it is better when it is a choice and not forced by any other entity.
Sorry for this long text, so yes #nostr can improve many points to be better, and a way to share / focus much more efficiently in future.
More diverse content, more companies using it, more tech trying to bridge to it.
Primal will probably be dead. It's centralized and seems to contradict the primary purpose of nostr. It seems to be recreating the same issues that the algos of all the poisonous centralized platforms created in the first place and are still exacerbating. Fyi, these are the same problems that nostr users wished to escape. Think on that.
Outside of social media, it'll be a new kind of internet. Available and useful to all types of market sectors.
