Opposite problem right now. They're molting.
Ours just started laying last month. They're all young.
Time for some bartering.
Sweet, getting some homegrown garlic from the neighbor for a dozen.
In this part of the globe, even if they roam free in a luxuriously ample patch of garden, with several trees over them, they do not lay zip considering it's cold. I buy all of my eggs for my scrambled-cheese morning bomb.
Are you like down in Argentina or something? It's cold here, like 20F at night. Still laying. We have heat lamps and cozy coops.
