I don't know who needs to hear this, but there are bitcoiners who are bad actors. Listen to them carefully, especially when they talk about themselves. Also the assertion that ego always gets in the way of understanding bitcoin and therefore understanding bitcoin deflates one's ego is a failure of introspection.
