Ok so calling nextcloud "bad" is not the best way of putting it. Its great used it for years but because its such a monster of an app suite its slow in a lot of ways. Ive been slowly replacing things that I had used on nextcloud and did the caldav server today and man.....radicale is so much more lightweight and faster at cross device syncing for my calender and tasks.

Not heard of that before. I take it it’s open?

Will investigate, likewise I use Nextcloud but it is slow. I always put it down to my server.

I dislike monoliths out of principle. I much prefer to use different specialized software for each thing.
