Intel's $1.45 billion EU antitrust fine is officially history, after the Court of Justice rejected the Commission's appeal against a 2022 lower court ruling that annulled the sanction. The fine was related to Intel's alleged abuse of dominance in the market dating back to 2009. While the chipmaker didn't win everything, as it still faces a new fine for "naked restrictions" practices, this decision marks an important milestone in the case.
