Reasons to use podverse over fountain:
1. can directly connect to alby wallet, so you can send sats directly from your node if you have configured your node with alby instead of using fountains custodial process ( boosts or streamed per minute). if the podcaster has their own node set up, now your sending v4v directly p2p 🙂
2. can listen to downloaded podcasts offline, fountain has many bugs, and one seems to be unable to play downloaded items when not on the internet.
3. open source so can be used with f droid or obtainium
4. no social graph stuff, which i personally dont like how heavy it is within fountain as my social graph is here, dont need another in my podcast listener.
