my dad wants to sell his house (it’s been paid off since 2012), but i’m trying to explain to him that owning property is so important :/ am i wrong for that?

You’re definitely right! I bought my first house at 25. 11 years later, I am so much farther ahead than I would have been if I rented the whole time.

he worked so hard to pay it off as fast as he could, skipped out on trips, buying anything for himself just to own it.
