If people can't find enough reasons to hate on something they dislike, they'll just fabricate some, or jump on someone else's fabrication. Social media is so toxic in this way, especially on reddit, and doubly so on forums dedicated to not something they like, but to something they dislike.
Why spend time on Buttcoin when you could spend time on a forum about tacos or gardening or something.
