I’d really like to go on a big trip for my birthday. I’ve wanted to go to Japan for several years now. It would make sense to stick around for #Nostrasia except if my return date is past October 28 the price of my flight increases considerably. Does anyone have any ideas why if I stay into November the price of the flight increases?

I’ll check them out. I’m still in the trying to figure out the trip phase. Still in the please let’s make it happen. Pray to every deity and cross every finger and toe. I have an unfortunate history of big trips having to be cancelled because of health problems. I rebooked a flight to Iceland 4 times before cancelling it altogether. I’ve yet to go to Iceland.

I got into watching these vlogs in shelter in place era, and haven't had a chance to visit the places either. I've watched so many, I started to wonder if it's really worth it for me to see the places I've seen in videos gazillion times at this point.
I’ve seen a bunch of videos. I don’t think it compares to experiencing a place in person.
