I hear you. For us, we tried limited screen time, but we could see the negative effects almost immediately. Now, there's only the rare, family movie on a weekend.

Not having the "out" of screens is tough, but I'm convinced that it's worth it. Teenager years… well tackle those when they arrive.

Currently limit screens to weekends only but I can’t stand that as soon as Friday afternoon hits they immediately ask for their screen time

It's unsettling to see how quickly that craving develops.

For sure, I’ve seen the effects of screen time on me… don’t want that to be a way out for whenever spending time with my children and it’s a slippery slope, no turning back once that dopamine is unleashed on kids
