Subnostr

A few days ago, I thought that I would go ahead and open an @TheShopRat account on Twitter/X or whatever it is called.

Been posting a little over there. I have to say…

I like nostr much better. Nostr just feels friendlier and less controlling.

I’ll try it for awhile, but I will always consider nostr home.

What is your experience?

As a user of x/twitter for over 10 years.

X/twitter is dead.

Why do you say it’s dead? I don’t have your ten year perspective.

Engagement is at all times lows unless you pay for the blue check mark.

They are constantly shadowing banning people still.

It does feel manipulative over there.

Nostr feels like twitter 10 years ago

Nostr is a pretty incredible place for being really about one year old.

Yes yes it is amazing.

Can’t wait to see what’s in store for nostr in a decade.

Oh and it’s hard to explain but when I started using twitter there was one the universe feed.

Was text based.

Text to post.

Much different then it is now.
