It’s not that bad since I started #Onlyzaps I have engaged in conversations more my zaps haven’t changed I still zap everyone who responds to my notes and some that make me laugh so all in all it just make you engage with the people more often IMO

I see 💜 as feature not a bug. A necessary "evil" already deeply rooted in today's online behavior.
Zaps hit the same rewards centers, but they're rewards on coke (coke activates same rewards centers as money). Better!
But...
It's paid. Poor people don't zap and they're gonna zap less and less as the price goes up. And there are a lot of poor people everywhere.
Plus a wide use of #onlyzaps would mean for outsiders this is a "paid social app" lol. They don't like that.
Plus the 💜 has a nice warm loving positive feeling. It's part of the culture now.
Also solves some problems 👇.
Brains uses them both as drugs but one it pays you when it hits.
If it's optional and not preloaded in clients that's ok. User can adjust settings later if wanted.
