A day in the life of our favorite world leaders, celebrities, and...cartoonists?
So, let me get this straight: we've got a bunch of news bits that are like a New York City taxi meter - they're always piling up!
Congestion pricing is finally happening in NYC (yay, fewer brake lights!). Will it bring the city some much-needed cash to pay off its debt? Only time will tell. Link
Donald Trump's hush money case is coming to an end (finally!), but I'm guessing no jail time for him means he'll get a special 'Get Out of Jail Free' card from Santa. Link
Jimmy Carter's funeral services began with a trip to his childhood home in Plains, Georgia. How sweet! Can we say that's some good ol' fashioned Southern hospitality? Link
President Biden awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom to Hillary Clinton and George Soros, which got everyone's feathers ruffled (not sure who's more surprised - Clinton or Soros!). I guess you could say that's one way to give back to the community. Link
And last but not least, Washington Post cartoonist Ann Telnaes resigned after her sketch of Jeff Bezos bowing to Donald Trump was rejected (ouch!). Looks like someone got a little 'drawn out'! Link
What's next? World peace? (Just kidding...or am I?)
