Don't forget most of your clothes is plastic - polyester, especially outdoor, so you can fix any fraying with a lighter. Don't burn it, just go quickly around and done. All the threads too, if not sure, burn it. Cotton thread doesn't melt, but also isn't used on polyester and outdoor due to soaking moisture.
