I spent the evening asking lovely people on the streets of Istanbul about #inflation and #bitcoin 🇹🇷

I sent them their first Bitcoin to say thank you!

I'm too tired to upload snippets but here are some photos.

My takeaways:

It was hilarious, fun and a little scary.

Sure, people get by with high inflation (60%+) but oh my days it's tough. The sentiment among the youth was apathy—"it's gonna get worse and we can't do much about it."

Fortunately, there is a way out. (It's probs bitcoin)

I gave out 100k Sats ($50) in #Bitcoin to 10 people.

And of the 10 I spoke to, 8 would save Bitcoin for the next 10 years. One older gentleman chose Gold. One chose stabecoins (#tether) + Bitcoin.
