In a deep filosophical sense - yes, in bitcoin world viewed in isolation - definitely for the worse. If we assume that until now bitcoin was mostly owned by individuals, that was closer to how it should be. Property is meant to be individual only. Not organizational not institutional. Institutions should own nothing and be happy. We should never have deviated from this ages ago. But now that in the broad real world we are far from it (institutions effectively own almost everything), we have to go back somehow. And it would be nice if we could do it gradually with least possible amount of suffering and death. So on our way, temporarily institutions will probably have to own some bitcoin, too. But with bitcoin's right incentives, hopefully we will not lose our path and reach the objective eventually. Objective where all property is individual, legally and effectively.
