im truly sorry for your loss. I had my companion from the age of 4 to 17years old.

you will never be able to fill the void but you will adapt to it.

I still hold on her collar over 20 years later. πŸ«‚

Omg thank you for sharing this. I donated my angels toys, all food as well as meds, and most of her clothes, but I have not been able to let go of her harness, most of her beds, and a few of her clothes. I am so glad to know someone else out there did the same thing.

I can’t fully understand sometimes if I’ve lost my mind, if I’m the only one that might not survive the loss of her best friend or if others really experienced this level of pain and really were able to at least keep going on with this earthly life, all while still holding onto things like a harness or a dress and eventually with time were actually able to go out for a walk on a sunny day and not cry.

The lost of a best friend takes a piece of our heart out, once i saw one of my one suffering and going, and now i am crying remembering that sad moment πŸ–€ 🀍
