This is a mandala made of sand by Buddhist Monks. They take a week to make it then sweep it away. No matter the effort, the beauty, the time it took it will all be swept away. All things are impermanent.

Interesting. The Bible says in the book of Hebrews 13:14 (ESV): “For here we have no lasting city, but we seek the city that is to come.”
