Definetly all the standard Dubai attraction like the Dubai mall (burj khalifa view) , museum of the future (book in advance) ecc.

I have been to the aura skypool on the plan, absolutely stunning view. Get a bench or high chair and enjoy the view from inside the pool, do not waste money on a sunbed , you are always in the sun without shade and its difficult to eat, except the cabanas which are nice but expensive.

I would also do an activity in the desert, it beautiful especially in the evening ( but hot until November)

Where are planning to stay?

I would avoid the marina it's extremely busy. I'd stay in a nice hotel downtown with a good pool and move from there.

Also another place that I absolutely love is the al maha desert resort and spa! If you go with the wife of gf.... Stunning! Look it up. Maybe still a bit hot now....
