I have a family member who’s DCA’d bitcoin purchases from this site bitcointradingprofx.live. He now wants to withdraw funds and they’re asking for more money to withdraw. Does anyone have experience with the site? Can’t find any scam references online 🤔

No exchange should ever be asking for money to withdraw your own coins. Sounds like your family member got scanned unfortunately.
That was my take too. Just was hoping for some confirmation.
Just following up because I want to help some way if I can. Is the exchange asking for more BTC in general? As in, “you need to have this amount before you can withdraw”, or is it saying, “this is the gas fee in order to withdraw”? If your family member is new to crypto, they might be unfamiliar with gas fees and getting confused. Hopefully this can help!
I’m getting second hand info through my father-in-law but according to him it’s 20k in btc. So there should be no gas fees. I’m in your camp that they should just be able to deduct the “fee” from the proceeds of the sale. Asking for more $$ just seems scammy and their last effort to squeeze some more money out. I suggested he open a police report and see where it goes.
