Do you think that there are casualties and coincidences in life, or do you think there are no such things?
Discussion
Absolutely nothing is casually.
Disorder leads to coincidences. But it’s also possible to view it from cause and effect framework. I’d say it’s both.
Humans bias towards pattern recognition so I’d bet on coincidence vs causality most of the time.
Disorder is just a construct and always depends on your point of view. I think you're right about the human bias towards patterns, it's how we learn and recognise the world, but it may just be a bug in our mortal brains to make sense of what we do every day. It could also be that it's a feature, not a bug, and it's our ability to act on this world that ultimately gives us meaning. Is there a higher consciousness guiding our steps or is it just a collective consciousness created by all of us? I am not sure if our lives are deterministic or if we are free life forms. Maybe our work is just to keep asking these kinds of questions.
