National Security: Classified documents suspected to have been leaked by the now-arrested U.S. Air National Guardsman, highlighted the People's Republic of China (PRC) efforts to “deny, exploit or hijack” satellites as core goal of controlling the information exchange in the “war-fighting domain". The obtained Cental Intelligence Agency (CIA) marked documents indicate that the (PRC) is developing a cyber weapon to "seize control" of and/or disable SIGINT capabilities of opposition satellites. The weapon accomplishes such tasks by accessing control of the satellite or causing "malfunctioning during crucial moments in combat".
