⚡️🇫🇷📵 NEW - From the start of the 2025 school year in France, all secondary school students will have to LEAVE THEIR PHONE at the entrance to the school and pick it up at the end of the day, announced Élisabeth Borne, Minister of Education, who wants to generalize the "digital break".

First good thing I've seen France do in a very long time

I am still uncertain where to stand on this.

Digital idiocy is real. Problems with attention as well.

But.

Schools should integrate more useful subject for 21st century - and in that instance, electronic devices are essential.

In the end: it’s probably just a simple idea: you don’t need Tik Tok for your subject, hand over your phone.

They have to have a device for only school things… if the children are using their own device than they always interact with Snapchat, tiktok etc.

I agree with you

Good

America should do the same
