No crashy crashy me likey. I can tag in my main Mobile client again. If you're using amethyst on android and still crashing when you're tagging people, switch to the beta version of florisboard.

And I guess if you're using Florisboard, because that's my personal favorite keyboard, and it was crashing Amethyst when tagging folks.
