I’m impressed by the pace of open source development happening here, the fundamental idea of protocol vs application separation and how the client I’m using has much better UX compared to 6 months ago!
But yeah, definitely lots more work for it to become mainstream and have the social network effects from a diverse audience.
I'm using this closed source client plebstr on Android, I didn't like the UI of most other clients 🥲 iris.to is pretty cool tho
Oh, I should check out iris. Damus is smooth though. Hope they do Android clients soon!
