To be fair it's an app with 15 years of development compared to a protocol that's only had a few months of large scale development & usage. They have had time to work out all of the major bugs and issues.

Looking at the trajectory though, Twitter is flat or trending slightly down on all metrics, so nostr & apps will pass it pretty soon.
