Yeah I totally agree with this. I think both ways are good. But he was saying “I’ve done this for x amount of time so I know the right way to do it”. Then I again I have more muscle mass than some of our friends who train with him. Everything has tradeoffs 🤷🏾

I can see his point, if you're after max building then protein + creatine + other stuff makes sense...
I'm not optimizing for that tho...
His argument is that we should be building the most muscle mass we can because after 50, it starts to decline. Then again I have more muscle now than I did in my 20s or 30s
