A very unhappy fella
Lucky decided he was going to start sleeping outside this week
After only two nights, he came back like this
Anyone with a cat - have you ever seen this before?
He is usually a very clean guy - never a hard or anything out of place
I'm thinking he was in a fight with something he seems pretty rattled
But why the fuck is he covered in mud?! 😆

Maybe he has an inflammatory infection
He definitely got a lesson on street life.
Prob got his ass kicked, had to scramble for his life.
You need to wipe him down and help get the goop off him, I wouldn’t immerse him tho. As you wipe, check for reactions to sore spots/internal bruising and look for bites, cuts etc.
Prob needs some shots too. Should take him to a vet tbh.

I wiped him down - front right leg was a sore spot but he's not bleeding anywhere
We are taking Arnie to the vet today so I'll ask the vet while we are there.

Wasn't even trying to clean himself off. And he usually spends all day cleaning himself.
He didn't like me wiping his front right leg.
Other than that, he's not bleeding or anything. But I'm thinking he got into a fight with something - but the head-to-toe mud is strange.
He might have something internal. Monitor him and make sure that he has food and water. It could have been a fight or a fall. The mud isn’t that unusual for a cat but it could be an indicator if he’s not wanting to clean it off. If he’s still acting off after a bit I’d take him to a vet. His leg could be broken or something. If he doesn’t clean himself that could also be an indicator. Bless his heart. ♥️
