Very relevant question here! I have this strange thought that taste of many things is compared to chicken like snakes or humans. Never met any1 who ate human flesh tho :(

True, a lot of stuff supposedly tastes like chicken… but I’m good never finding out what humans taste like 😅

I don't think there's anything strange about this thought...

Most likely, this comparison is made because it's the easiest thing to compare with the taste of chicken.

Or maybe the taste of a snake really does resemble that of chicken.

I've never tasted a snake. 🤷

Who knows, maybe in the world of cannibals, the comparison is made with the taste of human flesh, rather than chicken.

By the way, I've come across an opinion that the chemical composition of pork meat is the most comparable to that of human flesh.

I'm not sure how accurate this is.

One traveller described in his book an encounter with an old man, who remembered times from his childhood, when his tribe practiced cannibalism. Asked about the taste, he said: tasty, like pork.

Well, an old, experienced cannibal won't lie. 🤣

Yeah, I don't even know if the book author didn't make it up 🤷🏻

Now it's unlikely that we'll ever know for sure. 🤷
