Plebs are running knots because they lack the technical understanding of how this actually effects Bitcoin and are just following the crowd doing what they feel is the right thing to do. In other words, it's virtue signalling.

In short: plebs overcompensating.

And 'the more you suffer, the more it shows you really care.' there's a reason why people switch back from Knots to Core after a while, quietly.

I really dislike that the opposition is being painted as an attack on Bitcoin. We care just as much.
