No matter what I do...
I can't unblock myself or other people on Amethyst.
I tried to update on nostros and nostrudel. But there is a list with only five people muted, and I'm not included so can't unblock myself there.
My following list doesn't match either. In amethyst I have 6k followings. Any other client shows me the correct number (400 and something)
I love Amethyst but can't use it. Any other advice??

When you stop caring about the follows, Amethyst becomes awesome again 😎 and for me, #Amethyst is No.1
It's not about the followers I have or if I care of them...
It's about the people I follow and how I can't unblock myself.
On the other hand, who are we to judge what followers are worth to someone else?

As for followers / following. Those numbers will never be 100% accurate since every client needs to fetch that info from various relays. So a discrepancy in those numbers is normal and that's why we say your follower count on nostr is 0 signal.
As for your main issue. Have you checked your lists on https://listr.lol/ ? Imo it's the best app to manage your lists. As for mutes in general, since recently my mute list keeps zeroing itself on the daily. It seems to be caused by one of the apps I used overwriting what another app may have put there. Somewhere between noStrudel, Zapstream and Amethyst. One of them seems to do something funny to that list.

I understand what is said about followers and followed lists not being 100% accurate and it's a 0 signal.
I'm absolutely not interested in my follower list. I get several responses where this is misinterpreted.
What I do care about is the following list, since it is the content I want to see on us. And it's okay that it's not exact either. But the reality is that the only client in which the number of followers skyrockets absurdly is Amethyst. 9000 against the 400 that I have personally followed.

I have checked it and everything is in order there too: I am not on the blocked list, along with hundreds of other people.
I've already lost hope and I'm thinking of leaving him for peace. No Amethyst for me 😭
