I studied screen writing 30yrs ago…I got concerned when the fckers in charge (in my case Screen Australia) told me I could not use the word retard in one of my scripts; which btw had short listed into the prestigious Nichols Fellowship in 1999 - I was like - Wtf - I can’t say what I mean!!!
