When you realize that Apple is a reference to the original sin where man ate from the tree of knowledge to become like God and Android is a reference to the final sin where men try to transcend mortal flesh itself via crossing with machinery as an abomination to God. If this was part of the plot of a dystopian movie, it would be too on the nose but in real life, noone even seems to notice.
