Even this is difficult. Although i trust in the Lord, i often feel a lack of joy. Any tips?
ask Him to help you have a deeper understanding of His love for you as regular request over the next year.

I have been reflecting on that tonight and just the thought of it brings joy. Ty
I get a lot of joy from watching good things happen. An example might be seeing a video of a prisoner getting baptized. I always find joy when I see God working.
But stay out of your own head, don't entertain negative thoughts. This takes watching out for your own thoughts and making a conscience effort.
I always pray when I get a thought that is not right and it goes away.
